BoxKeeper is a fully offline storage organization app. This privacy policy explains how BoxKeeper handles your data.

DATA COLLECTION

BoxKeeper does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app has no internet connectivity and no permissions to access the internet.

LOCAL DATA STORAGE

All data you enter into BoxKeeper (box names, numbers, rooms, shelves, categories, notes, item details, and conditions) is stored entirely on your device using a local on-device database (Isar). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.

NO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

BoxKeeper does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. No data is sent to any external server.

SHARING

BoxKeeper includes a share feature that allows you to voluntarily export your data as a JSON file. This action is entirely initiated by you and uses your device's native share sheet. BoxKeeper does not send any data on its own.

BACKUP AND RESTORE

The backup feature creates a JSON file on your device containing your boxes and items data. This file is saved locally and shared only when you explicitly choose to do so. BoxKeeper does not automatically upload or transmit any backup data.

PERMISSIONS

BoxKeeper does not request or require any device permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, or internet access.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
